Rapid Racing Trading Course Review: A Football Trader’s Honest Experience

James is a UFT member who was invited to be a beta tester in return for an honest written review of Rapid Racing Trading.

My name’s James, and for the past few years I’ve been pretty deep into football trading for a few years now.

I know how the markets move, I’ve got my own systems, and I tend to stick to what I know. But earlier this year, I found myself with more time in the afternoons and started wondering if there was another way to make use of the hours before the football kicks off.

That’s when I got introduced to something I’d never really touched before: in-running horse racing trading. And to be totally honest, I didn’t have a clue where to start.

Trying to Crack Racing (And Failing)

I’d heard of stuff like DOBBING, scalping, all the usual buzzwords you hear in forums or on YouTube. I actually saw some videos and though “Ah, that looks easy.”

But when it came down to actually picking a race or identifying a trade, I was completely lost.

Most of what I found online was either outdated, too vague, or just full of noise. There’s loads of content out there, sure, but trying to sort the wheat from the chaff was draining.

That’s the wall I hit: I wanted to learn how to trade racing in-play, but I didn’t know who to trust, what to follow, or what even worked anymore.

Finding Rapid Racing Trading

I’m part of the UFT community and I was part of the group that did the survey about a potential racing trading course. I filled it out and eagerly waited, maybe this would finally help clear the fog for me. When Rapid Racing Traders was released I could see that this was just what I was looking for, it was aimed at football traders who wanted to learn horse racing without all the fluff.

It also mentioned being hosted at a new website called Ultimate Racing Trading, which sounded like it would host future tools, new courses and other things. I decided to jump in and apply for the early beta tester access, with the idea that I’d document my experience honestly and share what worked (and what didn’t).

First Impressions

The first thing that stood out was how clearly structured everything was, in very similar style to UFT (as you would expect for a sister brand). You get 8 strategies, each designed specifically for in-play racing. No endless videos, no waffling intros, just solid frameworks for how to approach the market.

I didn’t expect to enjoy it if I’m honest. Racing always felt chaotic to me, too fast, too many runners, too much can go wrong.

And dare I say it but horse racing always had a bit of a dull vibe about it, like it was your dad’s favourite sport which was why I wasnt so eager to learn it (I am fully converted now though!)

Anyway, this course broke it down in a way that actually made it make sense. Especially if you’ve traded football before and understand risk, market behaviour, and entry/exit logic. It all starts to click surprisingly fast. Can’t reveal too much, but it is just as simple as looking for how the race is forecast with front-runners and horses at the back and applying the relevant strategy.

What Helped Me Most

Remember, I am a football trader, who has no clue about horse racing and so there were a few standout aspects that really helped me personally:

  1. The K strategies — they’re numbered, and each one is based on a very specific racing market behaviour. It removes the guessing.
  2. Software use — they don’t just say “use software,” they show you how to use it to make your trading calmer, not more complex. I was a bit nervous about this part but it was second nature after a few trades.
  3. Clarity — it’s rare to find a course that doesn’t overcomplicate everything. This feels like a trader talking to another trader, not a guru trying to impress. I don’t want to name names, but I joined another in-running racing course right before this but walked away even more confused.
  4. Pace — you’re encouraged to take your time, go strategy by strategy, and build up your ability rather than dive in and expect to print money on day one. (Personally, I binged it all as I was having so much fun)

KAOS System Thoughts

I liked the organisation of the “K System”, short for KAOS systems.

Main idea is that they are allowing you benefit from the chaos (or Kaos) or the in-running racing markets which makes a lot of sense.

You quickly realise it is about getting in and then getting out to take advantage of the chaos before it gets too chaotic.

You are given “time limits” for each trade which was quite a new concept for me. Such as making your trade within 20 seconds or you exit. Very useful for those who get that rabbit in headlights syndrome when trading.

My Favourite Strategy

I do think everyone is going to be different with their strategies. Talking to 2 UFT members who were also on the course I could see they liked the “pre-set” strategies more than anything.

But for me, by far, the one that suited me best was the K3 strategy.

I won’t go into exact mechanics (not sure I’m even allowed), but it’s a lay-to-back approach that feels very natural to anyone who prefers laying over predicting winners. I find it easier to spot when a horse is not going to perform than to try and pick the one that’s going to win the race.

Once I got the hang of it, which took about two weeks of proper effort,I started hitting about 80% strike-rate on my K3 trades. That’s not a magic number or a guaranteed return, but it gave me enough confidence and consistency to actually scale up a bit.

And just to be clear to anyone reading this, for me it took around 2 weeks and I was practicing every day at it, for some others that might take longer. So don’t expect your skills to take off overnight you really have to get a feel for the markets.

It wasn’t suggested in the course but I took the liberty to screen-record my trades and watch them back to see if there was anything I missed. And when I messed up (which I did plenty at the start), I could see why, which made learning faster.

So I would strongly recommend doing that.

What I Tried Before (and Why It Didn’t Work)

Before this, my strategy was basically: watch YouTube, join a forum, try to piece it together.

This didn’t work for me but then I decided to do another course, paid my money and despite the trader showing lots of profits, I couldn’t fathom how he was doing it.

I was literally about to give up on racing trading till RRT popped up. Having done other courses from this publisher I knew it would be easy to understand and I wasn’t let down.

Rapid Racing gave me a proper guide and stopped me from wasting more time going in blind.

Who This Is Really For

I’d say this course is aimed squarely at people like me, traders who know Betfair and want to start adding in-running racing to their toolkit but don’t want to become “racing people” overnight. (Especially if you doubt your racing knowledge)

It’s not heavy on form study, and you don’t need to be a horse racing fan. You just need to enjoy markets and want a new source of daily opportunity.

If you’ve never traded racing before, it works. If you have and struggled to make it click, it’ll help. But if you’re an experienced racing trader already? You might find it too basic, unless you’re looking to refresh your logic or approach.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they build an advanced course later on, this one feels like Phase One. (I would pay good money for a pre-race trading course!)

Who Might Not Like This?

All this being said, a few things worth pointing out.

If you are an experienced trader I suspect these strategies might be “old hat” to you. I kinda knew some of them already but, as said, just didn’t know how to execute them.

Your bank size might be an issue too.

If doing lay to back then your liabilities can be quite big. Your not risking big money but you do need the float to cover it in the meantime. Then again, I don’t think this type of course is aimed at those with small banks but more at those looking to go pro.

Final Thoughts

Look, this isn’t some get-rich-quick scheme, and it doesn’t promise anything silly.

It’s just a clean, focused entry point into in-running racing trading for people who already think like traders. If you ever wanted to learn how to trade the in-running racing then this is it, it should clear up any doubts or confusion you had.

I still spend most of my time on football trades but now I’ve got this afternoon edge. I never thought I’d say this, but I actually look forward to the racing now. It’s fast, it’s clean, and when you know what to look for, it’s very tradeable.
