David is a UFT member who is still finding his feet with football trading and wanted to share his experiences with a full football trading genie review.
Firstly, some background about me. I have known about football trading for a few years but only got “serious” in the past 2 seasons, joining UFT and a few other things to try and crack the code.
And it’s been fun. But I am yet to crack that long term consistency, not the easiest for me with a day job and a family etc but I am enjoying the path.
In that time, I’ve had some good runs, a few months here and there where I thought I was finally turning the corner. But I’ve also had plenty of cold spells, frustrating weekends, and way too many late nights trading matches I should have left alone. (Bloody South American leagues)
Anyway, I realised the main issue for me wasn’t the trading itself, it was trusting myself.
I’d spend ages researching matches, sometimes going way too deep. I’d spot what looked like a good opportunity, but then I’d hesitate. I’d either miss the entry, tweak the trade last minute, or second-guess it halfway through and scratch out too early.
If my last trade was a loser, then I was extra careful on the next one and might even skip it just for that to be a winner.
Repeat that enough times and even solid strategies start to feel broken.
Eventually, I realised I wasn’t going to progress unless I fixed the mental load of trading. I needed a to outsource my trade selection somehow so I can just trade.
Anyway, I was one of the first to join the Football Trading Genie and it looked like just the thing I was looking for.
But has my experience been positive? or another disappointment?
First Thoughts on Football Trading Genie
In my short time trading football it feels like there is a new game-changing tool released every week. So I was skeptical, no doubt.
The UFT connection to the genie was what sold it for me, I know I wasn’t going to get anything half-baked.
And when I saw the demo video I was mind blown.
An AI that gives you trade-ready analysis in seconds? Sounds like a pipe dream!
But there was one line that caught my attention:
“This isn’t DIY, this is DFY — Done For You.”
And I thought,fair enough. Even if it doesn’t tell me anything new, if it can take the decision fatigue off my plate, I’ll give it a go.
After all, this is what I wanted, someone else to research and give me the trades so I can stop doubting myself.
So I signed up. And within the first weekend, I was already feeling the difference.
Clarity Over Complexity
The first thing that hit me was how clear everything is.
There’s no fluff. You pick your match, click a button, and the Genie (in his cocky tone) gives you a clean, structured breakdown. Strategy, Correct Scores or a trading plan.
No digging through multiple tabs. It’s all there, and more importantly, it’s framed in a way that’s easy to act on.
The Genie doesn’t just say “LTD looks good here, run with it.” It gives you reasoning, it will show you the stats that matter. So it might say something like “the xG looks high but due to the attacking intent of the managers and the goal timings we have to be cautious etc”
That kind of analysis is HUGE.
Does it call every trade correct? Of course not. But no human does and its hard to argue with the facts and the data it presents.
My Favourite Strategies
A big benefit of the Football Trading Genie is the HUGE strategy library you get access too. I learned a few strategies that you could argue was worth the payment on it’s own.
But here was the thing, at first, I tried to follow everything the Genie gave me.
That was a mistake.
Not because the trades were bad, most of them made sense,but because I lost my identity in the process. I was bouncing between strategies without fully committing to any of them.
And my old habits surfaced.
I would follow a genie trade, get a loser, next time Genie suggested a similar one, I would skip that and try a different one. In the end I was defeating myself and giving myself literal 0/4 trading days because of this.
Only myself to blame. If you are going to follow a strategy then you need to stick it with for the next month or so as a minimum, don’t dip in and out.
Anyway, I almost gave up on it but after a few weeks, I took a step back. I started paying more attention to what felt right. What matched the way I like to trade. And I landed on a couple of strategies that just clicked with me:
- The Momentum Strategy – this one’s perfect for matches where one team starts fast and it is a nice and simple. Plus I can use xG at half-time to decide on what to do in certain scenarios.
- The Countdown – People get nervous using this systems where you go against goals, but this only happens if you are watching it. I don’t watch it and its often easy money. Just exit if it goes wrong, I assure you the loss is never as bad as you think it is.
- Insurance Trades – I love these. Emotionally easier to commit to, especially when confidence is low. You give yourself that bit of cover, and even when things go sideways, you don’t feel like you’ve been wiped out. As you can tell, I am not a huge risk taker so the insurance angles have been interesting to use.
These three have become my core playbook, and I ignore most of the rest unless something really stands out.
My advice? Find your core 2–3 strategies, and let the Genie feed those. Don’t try to follow everything, it’s a tool, not a crystal ball.
A Strange Little Detail… That Actually Helps
This one’s hard to explain, but it matters more than I expected.
The Genie has a personality.
It’s not over-the-top or trying to be funny. But there’s a tone to the way it speaks,confident, sharp, slightly cheeky at times, that actually fires me up a bit before a trading session.
Like… I don’t know, it just feels good to hit the button and get a confident response from something that’s “on your side.”
That might sound silly. But when you’ve been in a bit of a rut, even small sparks of motivation matter. I now start every trading session and something about his presence pumps me up.
Never thought I would say this about AI but here we are!
A Few Glitches, But Nothing Major
Let’s be real, it’s AI. It makes the odd mistake.
I’ve seen it pull the wrong team name into a prompt once. Another time it gave trade pricing that was clearly outdated or from a different market.
You could also wonder about its judgement, one time telling me a 1.08 shot was “great value”. But these little quirks are just a small issue when you consider how well it works 99% of the time. If anything its funny when you catch them.
But if you know what you’re doing, these are easy to spot and ignore. It’s not making huge logical errors, it’s just the occasional slip.
Honestly, I’m more impressed by how rarely it messes up. And when it does, I don’t feel like I’ve been led astray, I just move to another match, no big deal.
And I guess the same goes for “real life”, you wouldn’t follow a tipster blindly and assume they have done all the research and are never wrong, or would you??
Where I’m At Now
I’ve stopped chasing trades.
I’ve stopped second-guessing myself constantly.
I now sit down with a plan, a routine, and a focused set of trades that match how I like to trade. This is a big breakthrough for me, stick to what you know and what you like.
The Genie made that possible. It took the chaos and indecision out of the process and replaced it with clarity and consistency.
I don’t feel like I’m gambling anymore,I feel like I’m executing.
Final Thoughts
If you’re a full-time trader with a strong routine, maybe you don’t need something like this. But if you’re like me, part-time, up and down, constantly battling doubt and time pressure then Genie might be the tool that finally gets you out of your own way.
I assume the UFT community might be split on it, some are already pros of many years and might already have your processes in place but for anyone in between this is a brilliant toy to play with.
It won’t trade for you. But it will make trading simpler, faster, and more enjoyable and after all the spreadsheets and stats sites and late-night doubts, that’s worth more than you’d think.
I don’t know what it is about this thing, maybe the name, maybe the flow, but it just works. And these days, that’s all I really want.
